How to Check Whether a Cross-Chain Transfer Arrived
Check a cross-chain transfer on its destination chain: match the transaction or balance to the intended network, token and recipient.

Check a cross-chain transfer by confirming a destination-chain transaction or balance change for the intended recipient. A successful transaction on the source chain shows that the transfer began; it does not by itself prove that the destination leg finished.
How do I find the transfer status?
Start with the transaction hash from the sending wallet or the bridge’s transfer page. Search the hash in the source chain’s block explorer, then check the bridge’s status page for any separate destination transaction or step still in progress.
Some routes use more than one transaction, so the source receipt may show only that the tokens were sent into the route. For help comparing routes before a transfer, the fuller rango bridge guide explains what to consider when choosing one.
Which transaction confirms that the tokens arrived?
The destination-chain transaction is the clearest on-chain evidence: open its hash in an explorer for the destination network and check that it succeeded and sent the expected asset to the recipient address. Then check the wallet on that same network for the token balance.
Verify the network and token contract, not just the ticker or display name. Different assets can share a ticker, and a wallet may hide a token until it is added or detected; a missing balance in the default view does not necessarily mean the transfer failed.
- Match the destination network to the one selected when sending.
- Compare the recipient address with the address entered for the transfer.
- Check the token contract and amount in the destination transaction.
- Allow the destination chain’s required confirmations before treating a pending transaction as final.
What if the destination transaction is missing?
Check the bridge’s status page and the destination explorer before taking another action. A route can still be processing after the source transaction succeeds, and the time required depends on the chains and route involved.
If the bridge reports completion but the destination hash does not appear, verify that you are searching the correct network and using the destination hash, not the source hash. If the route is marked pending or failed, follow the bridge’s stated recovery steps; sending the transfer again can create a second transfer.
For support, keep the source hash, destination network, token, amount, recipient address and current status together. Use the bridge’s official support channel, and do not share a seed phrase or approve an unexpected wallet request to “release” funds.
What should I check before calling it complete?
Call the transfer complete when the destination transaction has succeeded and the intended token is visible at the correct recipient address on the correct network. If either the transaction or balance is unclear, use the bridge status and transaction hashes to resolve that mismatch before sending again.
